SummerOnCampus was established in 1995 with the goal of providing information on summer programs held on college campuses throughout New York State. Over 100 colleges (plus several college preps and private institutes) are indexed in the SummerOnCampus online directory. The guide includes more than 70 categories of sports, arts, and academic summer camps for 8 - 18 + year olds as well as summer workshops and clinics for college students and adults. You will also find descriptions of winter and spring break programs as well as year-round programs for kids and teens. The focus of our directory is New York State:  We chose New York State because it has more colleges and more summer programs than any other state in the nation. The narrow focus has enabled us to construct the most comprehensive campus resource available for NYS summer camps and summer programs.

Participation in the directory is open to all colleges in New York State as well as those who utilize a New York State college campus for their summer camp venue or for their housing. The directory is updated continually throughout the year.

We direct this resource not only to parents and kids but also to school counselors, athletic directors, and teachers of music, art, drama and academic subjects. College students will find it useful in their search for summer jobs.
