Girls Soccer Academy- Day & Residential

Description:
The curriculum is designed for girls age 13 and up and will focus primarily on preparing players to compete at the collegiate level. The camp combines individual skills with team tactics to enhance the development of each player. Campers will be exposed to challenging training sessions to improve decision-making and speed of play. Competitive evening matches will also enhance development and provide players the opportunity to showcase their ability to some of the best Division I, II, III, NAIA and JC collegiate coaches in the region.
In the tactical sessions we will cover the following: combination play, positional play, principles of offense, principles of defense, and formations.
In the technical sessions we will cover the following: passing/receiving, dribbling, moves, defending, offense, heading, and finishing.
In the evening seminars we will be covering topics such as nutrition, recruiting, financial aid/scholarship, psychology, coaches and players Q & A panel.

Hamilton College All-American Soccer Camps

Description:
The All-American Soccer Camp offers camp participants high-powered instruction in technical skills and tactical strategies. Outstanding coaches work with athletes on an individual basis and provide lectures, training films, and on-the-field training. Team competition allows players to fine-tune soccer skills and develop game awareness.
Hamilton College’s excellent athletic facilities, which include two all-weather turf fields and eight grass soccer fields, ensure the camper plenty of training and game experience.
The Director of the camp is Perry Nizzi, Men's Soccer Coach at Hamilton College.

Goalkeepers Program: In addition to the regular soccer program, goalies can participate in a specialized goalkeeper’s segment that provides the opportunity to develop and improve upon skills unique to the position and game situations. Dave Carter is Director of Goalkeeper’s Program.

Description:
Our new soccer camp is a great place for any soccer player looking to improve their skills, work hard, make a new friend and have fun. Beginners as well as advanced players will learn techniques, tactics and play small-side games. Technical skills such as dribbling, passing, receiving, heading and shooting will be taught in a fun environment. More advanced and older players will learn individual, group, and team tactics in a challenging setting and play small-side and 11-on-11 games. Age and developmentally appropriate activities will be taught by an experienced staff, lead by a camp director with a United States Soccer Federation National Youth Coaching License and a USSF “A” License.

Hofstra University Men’s Soccer Coach Richard Nuttall and Women’s Soccer Coach Simon Riddiough combine forces to provide the most positive soccer training experience on Long Island. The camp is designed for boys and girls of all skill levels to improve their game through both technical and tactical instruction.
Camp Objectives
Coaches from all over the United States and Europe will use a variety of drills and games to improve footwork, passing, trapping, heading and shooting. There will also be games to help develop techniques and strategies. The staff will utilize small group and team settings to each athlete and improve their skills. All campers will be grouped according to their age and ability in order to maximize effective instruction. The expert and energetic staff ensures that each player’s soccer experience is positive and fun-filled. The camp curriculum is designed to maximize and challenge each player so they may reach their highest potential.

The Cornell Super 60 Camp is an intensive, three-day, competition-based camps for serious players ages 16-18. Athletes will be grouped into teams, learn from our Division I staff and receive training that includes a 60-minute full-sided match daily. Summer is the perfect time to play sports, meet new friends and experience different adventures. The Siena College sports camps offer you all those opportunities and more. The Siena coaching staff, Siena players, and other college players and coaches will teach you during the week. The emphasis will be on individual improvement and team competition, and the instruction will include informative lectures from visiting coaches. Along with the sports instruction you receive, you will have the chance to meet new friends and experience life on a college campus, from Siena's Marcelle Athletic Complex to its dining hall.
The objective of the Siena camp is to learn while having fun, regardless of age, sport experience, or skill level. Campers will be grouped with other campers with similar athletic backgrounds in the same age group. The many hours of individual instruction campers receive will be in small groups and supported with demonstrations and analysis from the coaching staff.

The Players Skill Center (PSC) offers a variety of Coed specialty camps with the flexibility to register for one or multiple sessions for children ages 6-14. Campers may choose any of our 3 different sports specialties or our athletic development camp. Campers have the option of spending a full day or half day in their area of specialization. Those campers who choose a half day in a certain specialty, will spend the other half in planned recreational activities, which include athletic competitions in a variety of sports, plus a designated swim sessions
Our instructional staff has a great mix of professional, collegiate and high school coaching experience. We also have a full support staff of current college players to provide as excellent role models for the next generation of athletes.

This camp is geared towards children who enjoy competing in a variety of athletics and want instruction in their overall techniques for each sport. Campers will be divided into age appropriate teams and participate in baseball, basketball, field hockey, flag football, boys and girls lacrosse, soccer, softball, tennis, volleyball and ultimate Frisbee. The daily schedule consists of 4 periods and swimming. Each period will be a different sport and may vary throughout the week. Open to girls and boys ages 6-14.

Led by Pace University Baseball Coach, Hank Manning, our daily schedule combines both group and individual instruction, along with controlled instructional games. Pace Head Soccer Coach Mike Winn and his staff strive to create an enjoyable learning opportunity to help each camper improve as a soccer player. Individual skill work in passing, receiving and finishing will be stressed as well as team tactical play. Campers will be competing against players of their own age. Camp is open to boys and girls ages 6-14.

Pace University Pitching Coach, Brealand Edwards’ daily schedule reinforces the fundamental skills young softball players need. Vassar College Soccer Camps- Day

Description:
Beginning and intermediate players are welcome to the Soccer Camp camp and will be placed in instructional groups according to age, ability, and wishes. The camp prides itself on its creative and fun learning environment, one in which each camper is not only tested but enjoys the learning process. Camp coaches are appropriately qualified both to teach the fundamental aspects of the game and to take more advanced players to a higher level.

Older, more experienced players are invited to attend the Advanced Camp, which is directed toward players with club travel team or regional select team experience. Instruction for improvement of technical skills continues, but significant attention is now placed on individual and team tactics, with emphasis placed on small-sided games and larger, age appropriate, games in each coaching component.
The camp has four main components: 1) technical skills; 2) chalk talk sessions - topics may include video analysis; rules of the game; speed, agility, and quickness training; nutrition and performance; introduction to age-appropriate weight training; and academics and athletics; 3) indoor competition session; and 4) advanced tactical strategies during afternoon outdoor play. Vassar head men's soccer coach Andy Jennings directs both sessions of the soccer camp.

Soccer Camp: Campers follow a program that emphasizes ball control, passing, agility, attacking, and defending with daily matches to ensure all campers all challenged and develop further. Boys & Girls aged 6-16.
Tennis Camp: Program is individually designed to methodically challenge players of all levels. Campers are encouraged to enhance their strokes and strategies via group lesson, skill building drills, organized play, target training, and more. Boys & Girls aged 6-16.
Volleyball Camp: Campers follow a challenging program of technical and tactical drills geared to improve fundamental skills and enhance game performance. Girls aged 11-16.

Boys’ and Girls’ Soccer Day Camp
boys and girls • entering 1st through 12th grades • August 2 - August 6, 2010 • 9am-4pm, Friday 9am-noon. Cost - $200
The Roberts Wesleyan College Soccer Camps include five days of soccer instruction, training, practice, and game play. The daily schedule includes morning themes and a “thought for the day” shared by one of the coaches, followed by technical and tactical training. The camp includes many camp competitions which include small sided games, the coaches’ challenge and the ever popular World Cup tournament.

Soccer Shooting Skills/Goalie Training Camp:
Boys and Girls, grades 3 through 12 • July 19 - July 22, 2009 (4 day camp) 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Cost- $70
A Shooting Skills/Goalie Training Camp is offered at Roberts Wesleyan College. This popular 2-hour camp is loaded with shooting and scoring drills and skills. 8 full-size goals, goalies, coaches, and hundreds of balls help players take hundreds of shots each day. Goalkeepers are provided with small group training and plenty of practice in the net.

Women's Soccer Elite Overnight Camp:

The Elite Camp is designed to give advanced skills practice to female High School players looking for a more challenging training environment. The players are directed through an advanced curriculum by the Roberts Wesleyan College Women’s Soccer Coaching Staff. The curriculum is designed to improve the player’s technical ability and tactical knowledge throughout the three days. Camp will consist of 6 practices throughout the 3 days spent on campus. The Elite Camp is designed to give high school players the opportunity to experience a college soccer training environment, be evaluated by college coaches as well as get exposure to Roberts Wesleyan College and the Women’s Soccer coaching staff.

A series of activities designed to challenge participants on both an individual and group basis. Presented by trained instructors the program encourages teamwork, cooperation, focus and responsibility. Participants work together to successfully maneuver each obstacle and creatively solve challenges. Equipment: workout gear and sneakers.

Advanced Adventure
ages 9-16. 2010: Aug 2-6, 5- 8 p.m. cost: $155
Campers will learn and participate in belay techniques, knot tying and the necessary skills to facilitate an adventure course. Prerequisite: Campers must have participated in at least 2 previous adventure camps. Equipment: workout gear and sneakers.
Attention, campers. Due to renovations in the McDonough Field House, the indoor adventure course will not be available for use. This camp will be held on our outdoor course in rain or shine conditions.

Football Camp
ages 7-14. 2010: July 12-16, 9 a.m- Noon. cost: $79
Instruction in the fundamental skills needed to play the game of football will be covered. This is a non-contact camp that also will serve to enhance the knowledge of the basic rules of the game. All in attendance will learn to pass, kick, snap, catch, block and tackle. Equipment: workout gear, cleats and/or sneakers.

Softball Camp

This camp centered around the game of T-ball will be a fun way of learning skills for hitting, catching, throwing and running bases. Daily activities also will include games, crafts and water activities. (balloons and slip 'n slides)

Volleyball- (Held at LaSalle Institute - 174 Williams Road)
ages 9-15. 2010: June 28-July 2, 9 a.m.-12 noon. cost: $79
For the beginning player: learn to pass, set, dig, block, spike and serve. Focus will be on basic skill improvement and fun activities centered around the game of volleyball. Equipment needed: sneakers, workout gear. Suggested: knee pads.

All Sports
ages 7-14. 2010: July 26-30, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. cost: $155
This camp provides participants with a unique opportunity to experience a variety of camps in one setting. Throughout the week, various sports will be featured including: soccer, tennis, handball, wiffleball, badminton, weight training, team building and brain games. Equipment: sneakers and workout gear.
