Description:
The summer camp is a wonderful opportunity for children to enjoy exciting recreational activities in the friendly summer setting of Baruch's Athletic & Recreation Center (ARC) at 24th Street and Lexington Avenue. Facility is fully air-conditioned
The camp features trips, an annual carnival and a talent show.
Baruch College Summer Camp includes the following ACTIVITIES
Swimming Lessons, Enrichment Classes (Reading & Math), Arts & Craft, Basketball, Computer, Fitness,
Soccer, Classroom Activities, Dance, Volleyball, Dodgeball and Game Room. (Daily Prizes & Much More!)

Description:
The Baruch Leadership Academy strives to bring talented high school students from around the globe together in New York City for intellectually stimulating and culturally enriching academic exploration. Academy pre-professional programs allow students to explore new realms of academia, engross themselves in college planning and standardized test preparation, and better plan for success in their future endeavors. At the Baruch College campus, Academy students experience college life while they prepare to shine in the college admissions process, excel at the university level, and embark on successful, focused career paths.
The Academy offers four tracks of study for rising juniors and seniors: Pre-Med, Financial Engineering, Global Finance and Entrepreneurship. Sophomores study a specialized Sophomore Enrichment track of study. All tracks at the Academy include focused learning in their concentrated field as well as SAT preparation

Program Information:
The 2014 Academy offers several day sessions running throughout the month of July.
4-Week Session (Entrepreneurship, Financial Engineering and Pre Med)
Monday, July 7, 2014 – Friday, August 1, 2014
Tuition Fee $2,900; Deposit: $250 (deposit will be deducted from total academy cost)
2-Week Sessions (Global Finance and Sophomore Enrichment)
Session 1 Monday, July 7, 2014 - Friday, July 18, 2014
Session 2 Monday, July 21, 2014- Friday, August 1, 2014
Tuition Fee $1,500 Deposit: $250 (deposit will be deducted from total academy cost)
Requirements for Admission
Competitive applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
Required Materials:
• Application for Admission Online Form
• Two letters of recommendation from a teacher, school administrator, or guidance counselor
• A recent High School transcript (students must have at least a B cumulative average to apply)
• One 300-word essay

The Wall Street Baruch Leadership Academy
An international pre-college program in New York City

Description:
The Wall Street Baruch Leadership strives to bring talented students from around the world together in New York City for intellectually stimulating and culturally enriching academic exploration. The pre-professional program prepares motivated high school students for successful careers in the thriving industries of business, finance, and the global market. The exciting New York City full time residential learning experience provides students with three fun-filled weeks of intensive pre-college preparation. The Academy exposes students to briefing for application to American universities and colleges, focused learning in the field of business in a global context, and interactive field trips in the world’s most noted business centers. The students will have networking opportunities with industry insiders and likeminded high school students from across the world.

Program Information:
The 2014 Academy offers a day program with a residential component
Monday - Friday from July 20th - August 3rd, 2014
Tuition is $6,000 USD (includes room, meals, and activities) Competitive applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
All students applying for admission must submit the following:
• Application for Admission Online Form
• Applicants must provide sufficient financial documentation to cover all program costs ($6,000 USD) for the J-1 Visa application.
• Applicants must submit proof of health insurance. Health insurance is a mandatory component of the J-1 Visa. The following are health insurance plans that can be purchased for the three week period that students will be attending the Academy:

b. ISO Student Health Insurance
c. International Student Insurance Plans
d. Gateway Plans
e. Study USA-Health Care
*Please note that the Academy does not endorse any particular health insurance provider.
Submit a $250.00 USD deposit fee in the form of a check payable to Baruch College. Please note that the deposit fee is refunded to students who do not gain admission to the competitive Academy.
