Description: Acting Shakespeare Teen Summer Intensive (for 15-18 year olds) combines Physical Theater, Movement Training and Character Development acting methods with Classical Shakespearian Language to provide young actors with the fundamentals required in the professional acting arena.
Classes will be held at the long-established and prominent Actors Movement Studio in Midtown Manhattan, NY in the heart of the Theater District.
July 12 - July 29, 2010 from 10 AM – 5:30 PM daily. Early Registration Discount.

Studio faculty, as well as master teachers and guest teaching artists, will participate in the training over the 3-week intensive period.

Additional Information: The Faculty consists of Master Teachers and Guest Artists:
Janice Orlandi- Artistic Director of Actors Movement Studio NYC, Certified teacher of Williamson Physical Technique and Period Style and Dance; Bill Bowers- renowned Mime artist who recently worked with John Turturro and Aida Turturro in the Soul of Naples on Broadway and in Italy; Shelley Wyant- Founding Artistic Director of internationally acclaimed mask & puppet performance company MaskWork Unlimited, Shelley has taught classes and workshops for NYU, Yale, Circle in the Square, Smith, Brown, Stella Adler Conservatory, The Actors Studio MFA Program, and Bard College, among many others; Paula Murray Cole- RASABOXES TRAINING, Co-Director of Education for East Coast Artists. Taught acting, voice and movement and directed productions at Ithaca College, the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana, Interlochen National Arts Camp, Trollwood Summer Performing Arts Camp, and the Governor's Magnet School for the Arts of Virginia.
