The STEP summer camp offers students (grades 7-12) an intensive three-week learning opportunity through classroom instruction, educational field trips and mentorship by Union College students. Classroom instruction, led by Union College Professors, focus on math, science and technology. Field trips to various museums and learning centers are planned in conjunction with professors'' syllabus and course requirements. Students are also required to conduct a research project. At the end of the three weeks, parents are invited to attend a final power point presentation on the students? research projects. Additionally, students can represent their projects at the STEP Statewide Conference and Research Competition held in Albany every spring. All STEP participants are invited to participate in this conference.
