Calhoun Summer Dance & Video (CSDV) , Manhattan
A unique two-week program for students 10-14 years old, CSDV offers students the opportunity to take charge of script-writing, videography, editing, costuming, directing, setting props and choreographing, to create their own dance-driven newscasts, documentaries & commercials. The program culminates in a live and electronic performance. NO formal dance experience needed; just a desire to experiment through movement & an interest in learning about video production. The iD Film Academy offers three 2-week sessions of intensive study in documentary filmmaking and post-production for teens. Filming on location in Montréal, students will learn from professional filmmakers & film school students with an insider’s knowledge of the industry & film festival circuit.
