Description:
Designed to enhance the skills of players of all ages, the camp includes drills to improve fundamentals, competitive age-group games, and daily lectures on different facets of the game. Shooting, passing, ball-handling, screening, and pivoting are key fundamentals stressed during the camp. The camp will conclude on Thursday morning at 11:00 a.m. with an awards ceremony.
Special attention is given to each age group, with older campers receiving advanced instruction in game situations and post-up play. College and high school coaches will be on staff at the camp. The camp will also feature a clinic from a college coach. To help break up each day, campers will have access to the college pool for free swim, and the staff will engage the kids in other team games as well. The boys' basketball camp is under the direction of Hartwick's head men's basketball coach Todd McGuinness.
