NYU Precollege 2010

|
Description: NYU Precollege offers rising high school juniors and seniors living in the New York metropolitan area an opportunity to earn college credit and to experience academic and student life at New York University. During this six-week nonresidential program, students commute to Greenwich Village for one or two classes they’ve chosen from more than 75 credit-bearing courses. Subject areas include art, music, humanities, natural science, social science, communications, and more.
Participants take courses with college-age students and are expected to contribute on a mature level. In addition to enrolling in credit-bearing courses, students may also enroll in a noncredit writing workshop, attend college-planning sessions, and/or participate in student activities, all of which are designed solely for our Precollege students. Admission is selective, as space is limited, and students are strongly encouraged to apply early.
