Description:
In Ithaca's residential pre-college summer program, high school students experience college life and two non-credit workshops while living in a safe environment
The program is open to all high school students
Primary workshop subjects include:
American Sign Language • Blues Legacies, Movement Alchemy, & Black Oral Traditions • Digital Music Production • Drafting your Future: Majors, Careers and College Success • Engage: Community Action Experience • Technology in Athletic Performance • Screenwriting Sports Media and Marketing • Virtual Reality and Animation

Program Information:
Coed. Residential. June 28 - July 3, 2020 .
Open to all high school students.
The summer 2020 fee to attend a one-week course is $1,680. This fee covers room, board, tuition and activities.

Three-Week Session Open to all High School Students

Description:
Summer College is a three-week academic program for talented students who have completed their sophomore or junior year in high school. Students live together in a residence hall and choose one of ten college-level courses and three noncredit workshops. Students earn two to four college credits. Ithaca College faculty teaches all courses. The program includes co-curricular seminars and recreational activities.
College-level course subjects include:
Anthropology through Film; Engage: Community Action Experience; General Psychology; Health Sciences: Foundations & Careers; Media & Communication Studies; Introduction to Business; Health Sciences;; Sport Media; Television Studio Production; STEM Institute Undergraduate Research; Theatre Intensive (with tracks in Acting, Musical Theatre, Technology/Design & Stage Management, and Theatre Studies & Theatre Arts Management)

Program Information:
Coed. Residential. July 5 - July 24, 2020
Students who have completed their sophomore or junior year in high school
Students who have completed their sophomore or junior year in high school
Students who demonstrate an above-average academic profile, leadership skills, or special talents will be given preference.
The application process includes a request for a brief essay explaining your interest in the program and a request for your high school transcript.
2020 cost: $4,995 (including STEM Institute); Summer Theatre Intensive $5,480
Cost includes room, board, tuition and activities.
A limited number of partial tuition scholarships are available to those in special need who complete a financial aid application, available on the program website.

Description:
Rookie Camp- $1,095 per camper. Ages: 13 and up!
A fascinating introduction into the world of Sports Broadcasting. Get ready for an unforgettable week of insight, knowledge and fun. Learn from multiple Emmy award winner Bruce Beck and his special guest lecturers, including top sportscasters and personalities in the New York Metropolitan Area. From TV & Radio Play-by-Play; to Anchoring & Hosting; to Sideline Reporting; to Sports Talk Radio – this camp will teach you all the nuances of the industry.
The highly interactive camp includes a road trip to MetLife Stadium and concludes with an amazing Play-by-Play experience of a New York Yankees game at iconic Yankee Stadium.
Taught by Bruce Beck and New York Knicks radio Play by Play voice, Ed Cohen.
Featuring two incredible experiences:
Campers call the Play-by-Play at Yankee Stadium on Friday evening
Road trip to MetLife Stadium
Veteran Camp* - $1,195 per camper. Ages: 13 and up!
A young Sports Broadcaster’s dream. An opportunity to build and take home an on-camera resume reel. Write and deliver a sports commentary in a studio setting at Larchmont Mamaroneck Community TV station; Do an interview in the field with a former pro athlete; create a podcast; Do a studio debate and opinion show with another camper; Write and record a television sportscast. Taught by Bruce Beck and Mike Quick, former MSG Network Sportscaster.
*To attend the 'Veteran Camp,' one (1) year of Bruce Beck Sports Broadcasting Rookie Camp is required.
Featuring an incredible experience:
Two days of taping shows at a local Westchester television station, LMC-TV
